
If You Don’t join Pinterest, You’ll Hate Yourself Later
I have been playing around with my Penterest site and trying to figure out how to make use of it to help you drive traffic.
I came up with to trade likes as well as pins. You like my page and I will like yours and then send me your website and I will post to my friends board, which will link back to my blog.
You can do it too. If you have not setup a site go check out Pinteres this is getting some heavy play and a lot of traffic, so much so that Facebook now has it’s own “Collections” to compete where you not only gather things you like or share pretty pictures or your wares but, it is also a shopping tool, where as Pinterest is a Networking tool. “Collections” thus far looks more like pictures taken out of catalogs than the homey feeling of the boards on Pinterest
And that is all well and good, but what Facebook is failing to see is the relationship building that comes from a place like Pinterest. As making a sale is fine an dandy for your company but, growing a customer base that returns again and again to not only learn who you are, but share who they are is better.

And now Pinterest has hidden secret boards that you can choose who we share the content with great for posting those pictures for Grandma’s eyes alone.
You can also drive up your search engine ranking by tweeting your pins and exchanging repins.
Upload a lot of pictures ahead of time and then schedule when your pins are posted by joining Pingraphy a free site which is a great Pinterest Tool.
And these two tools help you build your following with Pinreach. And see where your site ranks with Pinpuff .
You hear all over to share unique content on your boards, but I say other than the board you put up for the business side, to pin what you like things that appeal to you, that you find interesting. Because I see Pinterest as not only a place to expose your company and what you are offering but also showing who you are and what is important to you. Along with the things that peak your interest as your customer and your potential customers and partners wish to feel that they know who you are and can trust you.
Believe me you will get more positive interaction by pinning your family dog and saying how he is just like one of your kids and ask others if they feel the same way, than you will with posting some weird picture you hope drives traffic.
I am not saying people will not come gawk at the oddities and headline catchers they will they may follow, but will they feel comfortable enough with you to join your business or purchase your products?
Me, I will always come back to show your heart to be REAL will in the long run be what makes someone wish to get to know you be a part of what we do, not the flashy content but, the value and sharing who you are is what Attraction Marketing is all about and Pinterest is all about attraction.
But also remember on your Pinterest boards you put up for your company to take a minute to know who your targeting and pin content that WILL attract your market and showcase your business.
You can even use in pictures as well as the description to ask questions and see if you are the solution to what they are looking for, when people look at your company pins
But remember on all your boards to let your personality shine through, and people feel a smile from you and on their own face when they visit- so they will come back.
