When sponsoring and Team Building remember you are not looking for just anyone to join your opportunity but for that select few that will help grow your business and run with your opportunity. But to get to that point in sponsoring you must first talk to the prospect, most likely in a way few if any Network Marketers ever have. Because you are not going to pitch them you are going to as I said yesterday, qualify them.
How do you do that? By asking questions- and you get answers that show you their motivation- how much of a go getter they are, are they fired up! Might even ask what will you bring to my team or WHY should I invite you to join my opportunity? Let them, do the selling.
Listen to what they say as well, do they have goals, their work ethic, what they are looking for? Do they want more in life? LISTEN!!!!!!
Four sample questions may be:
1. Why are you wanting to do this/join my opportunity- what’s driving you, your passions!?
2. What brought you here at this time in your life
3. What kind of income are you looking to make in a business of your own?
4. Beyond money what are you looking for in a business like this?
Your job is to uncover bring out, probe and stir things up with both the expected and unexpected questions to gage if a prospect is worth the investment. Just as it is the prospect’s to ask questions that help them qualify you and your opportunity.
Once you have interviewed and decided that the prospect is a good fit for your team and yourself has the desire to grow both your business and also their own and you are willing to invest that very precious commodity of ours- TIME into them.
You then Get started NOW as your new Team member will never be as excited as they are on day one!
Do not try and become a perfectionist before you act- you will learn more by doing than by waiting to be the best at doing both for you and your team. And your team will look to you as their model to how they proceed.
So be a motivator, a team builder demonstrate leadership- develop inner team contest and incentives- Rewards go a long way as does recognition and praise.
And as have set attitudes in how you choose to sponsor. Set priority goals, if you want a 500.00 buy-in stead of the low end of say 100.00 from a prospect to show a certain level of commitment then stay with that foundation, as you do not need to sponsor prospects that you feel will not be invested enough to grow both yours and their own business.
You do not want to sponsor every prospect you only want to sponsor those that will be an asset to your business which will help them build their own as well as your down-line. As you are as much Relationship building as you are sponsoring. And you need to utilize Relationship Management by being able to maintain the trust and support of your team.
