Relationship Management- Why do it?
This term goes back to the old school Corporate America foundation and is taught in Marketing and Business college classes. Relationship Management teaches you how to manage people, thoughts and ideas. What it also does is teach you how to merge different personality types and recognize strengths and utilize them. What about that is useful in Network Marketing? ALL OF IT. Only it is applied on a slightly different slant. But the rules still will benefit you if you learn them.
As success in business ALL business is built on effective relationships and your success depends on your capacity to create and maintain both….
- Customer relationships.
- Team Relationships
HOW do you do that?
- Be a leader
- Be the expert- so always not only be learning, but also be teaching.
- Be a Motivator
- Be open and communicative
- Be proactive, be accessible
- Have effective listening skills
- Establishing rapport
- Ask questions to uncover needs
Create an atmosphere of the importance for the people on your team and in your customer base. Like I said in prior post Ya Gotta Have Heart we are all special, but it is so valuable when you can make others feel that they are too. Because in this me, me world, it is rare when we take the time to make someone else the focus of our praise and single them out for recognition. So do not forget to atta boy your team and interact with your customers in a personal hands on speak their language basis that shows you appreciate them, not just their business.
Giving value and being an asset to people’s lives and goals is a good way to establish and build rapport.
And in building loyalty ties you to your team. The give even more than you get attitude will pump up and inspire them to perform and is a GREAT role model for setting up your team matrix. And WILL grow your business.
So that is the WHY to do it
