
It’s not about the Office in Network Marketing
It’s about NETWORKING. You do not need to set up a big desk, in a far off corner of the den or set aside a spare bedroom in which to construct a space to work. You do not need to make a bunch of business cards, colorful flyers or DVDs to get started. You just need to start!
Do you really need to setup some fancy smancy home office to succeed?
No. No you do not!
It’s not about the Office, in Network Marketing- it’s about PEOPLE
In Network Marketing all you need to do is build your business. You need to get customers, you need to sell product THEN you can concentrate on the office, and how fancy and what you want in it. AFTER you have need of an office.
Because many of us in Network Marketing after the initial excitement dies down to avoid moving to the take ACTION phase- start the busy work of I AM doing something I am making my cards setting up my office- moving furniture for my business, stage. That NEVER involves getting people to join your opportunity.
Or maybe you were able to get the list of warm leads made your up line said would be so easy to get on board your business, and they did not! So you had you make your second list and that got even more no’s so you are at the what now stage?
And so rearranging the furniture and making up business pamphlets and putting together samples for NO one.
You start the stage of I look like I am business building because I am……. “fill in the blank” but setting up my office, is a big one I hear a lot.
We all want our ducks in row we all want to be prepared and set to go when we decided to have a home business. But lets say you are opening a restaurant- a franchise so all the menus and paperwork is provided by the parent company you bought a business in a box much like we do with Network Marketing- you just have to get busy building it.
BUT before you open your doors or one patron comes to check you out you make reams and reams of food, dozens of loafs of bread a truck load of sauces and burgers. You overstock the fridges and counters. Plates of cooked food sit on every table WAITING!???? Would you be doing anything to further the restaurant? Would you be business building?
What you do need In Network Marketing is leads, traffic, perspective customers and followers. We have discussed how to drive visitors to your blog to your web site and ways in which to avoid the cold calls. We have talked about online classifieds, testing ads and Research marketing, Branding and more in past post. We have set up step by step how to do this online.

In the next few post we are going to talk more about the nuts and blots of Network Marketing.
It is called Networking because we build one. A network in which to use as our contacts and in which we use to build our business. Setting up a home office is a nice luxury but IS busy work. All you need is a computer and a phone to really get started- we have went through online and we want to avoid cold calls but we do not want to totally avoid the phone as it will link you to warm leads as well as your customers and followers who will like you take the time to make personal contact when many Network Marketers do not.
