More than having a Dream

 

It will take more than sharing your vision or laying out your dreams to reach your goals. Yesterday I laid out those two feel good motivators, but while I stand by the need for both. Neither will get you there alone.

They are just concepts to put into motion and give you direction. So you need more than having a dream.

Most Network Marketers are told by their up line make a list of EVERYONE you know, call them up, and keep pushing through the no’s until you get your yes’s and just kept on doing rinse and repeat and WISHING that it would work.

Then being told it is you, not the system-just try and a little harder use the 3 foot 9 foot rule and go back over your list again.

We are told to purchase DVDs and other marketing tools to hand out to set up parties and meetings and yet most will not recoup the money they laid out to market their products or opportunity.

To Brand yourself, sell products, services, and marketing tools is a balancing act to produce consistency in your marketing and establish yourself while simultaneously inspiring the sales and bringing people into your opportunity.

So rather than sticking to one particular strategy – why not just look for the most effective way to make that happen? Then throw out what does not work.

What I’ve found is that a lot of people with non responsive techniques keep hammering their friends and relatives to death again and again. But while you may guilt them into or wear them down so they join, sign on- whatever. But those people who really did not want any part of your great deal in the first place DO NOTHING even if they do sign up. Because they only did so, to get you off their backs!

The reality is that in Network Marketing, you have to move a massive amount of people to action to create any kind of sustainable results. But they have to be productive team members to be of any value to you or your business.

So why keep using ineffective approaches, and when something doesn’t work? To just beat your head against the wall even harder! Doesn’t it make sense to find out what does work and stop doing what doesn’t – and stick with what’s effective?

You can have huge dreams and still beat your head against a wall. The thing that is going to make the biggest difference is learning the simple ACTIONS that WORKto create the
results that you want – and then having the VISION to follow through with them.

Your vision will keep going and motivate you but if you want more results – you’ve also got to learn the skill of direct response marketing, and you’ve got to THINK like a small business entrepreneur NOT a Network Marketer.
