Networking and the Buddy System- Twitter
Like Facebook Twitter is a larger business tool than most think about or utilize.
I used to wonder what I could do with 140 characters for my business, though I would Tweet Labrador Rescue messages I could not see the value in more than having the personal have a great day or hope all is going well with you, man it’s hot can you believe it is nearly Christmas and Merry Christmas Happy Thanksgiving Tweeets.
I myself learned what a little gem
Twitter really is, and yes it is still great for let’s meet up here and the
time of your appointments, but when I first put up my page I failed to see the
true Marketing tool we have in Twitter. However as time went on I discovered so
many business uses and there are countless ways in which to Brand and promote
yourself. I am only going to share a few of my own, but I am also going to put
another blogger’s link Meryl K Evans who posted 62 ways, as some are clever some I did not know
and I liked the treasure trove of ideas there so wanted to share them
with you 
But here are just a few of my own

1. The first thing you need with a Twitter page for business is make it a business page. Create a professional look and post a Professional picture or your Company logo- add your contact info to the graphic you use as your background Example: my Twitter page Sandy Metcalf
2. This is one of my favorites you can link Social Media accounts post updates from sites like Fackbook and I also use LinkedIn to Twitter. And You can have your Tweets post on them or other sites as well. So Linking your accounts can save you the time of having to go to all the different Social Networks daily. But there is a downside as well, you can over post the same updates and media blast and you lose the personal touch that posting on Twitter is about so mix it up, use the auto post between the different sites, but also post personal little re-tweets of post you like and things you want to share as well as some original Tweets to show you are real and not look like a spammer. As like in all the tools we have listed on this blog Twitter is both an informational tool AND a Relationship builder. Attraction Marketing must ATTRACT! So use good judgment.

People love when you share no strings goodies- so do it! And here is one for
you since it is so hard to find your RSS Feed on Twitter now just copy and
paste this URL http://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/user_timeline.rss?screen_name=” you fill in your own Twitter name here” and you
can share your RSS Feed
4. Run Twitter only specials and offers- You can drive traffic to your blog and create interest in your products with exclusive offers to the different Social Media sites and use those offers to test Market where you are seeing the most return.
Remember to Welcome Followers Offer advice Answer questions and help with solutions on Twitter as well and you will build a following that will more than likely come to your blog to see what else you are about which gives you an additional avenue to develop a deeper relationship with your Twitter followers.
