You’d be crazy to ignore Affiliate Marketing, as it can be an steady stream of extra revenue to fill those gaps when you are growing of your main company to add to the building of your little next egg
Ok’ we have addressed before the perks and bonuses of having your own business and while most of us have a high end program we work and hold dear, it is the additional streams I taught about not putting your eggs all in one basket that keep you seeing those dollars coming in even if it is more of a trickle than a flood it adds up So affiliate marketing can be a very good way to fill up those revenue steams
So, just what is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing takes place when you agree to promote another company’s business in exchange for a portion of the payment when a customer makes purchases of a product or service through your affiliate link/efforts. And or you bring in new distributors on your team
Five reasons why affiliate marketing just makes sense.
- 1. Low buyins and start up cost, most are from pennies to dollars to get involved with. When you go into a brick and mortar business you are talking about some serious money for equipment, materials office space, etc. For your online business, you do all this in a virtual world but, there are still cost and some higher than others to have your own online company. But affiliates are in everybody’s reach, so that is a good starting place or as I said a great little extra each month for those of you who already have your own business and a great selling factor as well.
- 2. You can do this on your own, no support staff needed and in some cases no team building required. And most affiliate opportunities come with marketing materials web sites and training attached, to help you succeed.
- 3. You don’t need to have a product of your own; you just have to share the products of the company you joined as an affiliate.
- 4. You do not need a business degree or more than a willingness to learn. A can do mindset and a little time in which to get out there and promote the program, can net you very pleasant results.
- 5. Once you have got going and into the grove planed out your time, used the company training and marketing materials start to find your target market affiliate marking will develop you a nice little passive income, that you either work on the side of your main business or use it as a stepping stone into a bigger and higher end business and use what you earn with affiliate marketing to fund it.
