Who’s gonna hire me?

Who’s gonna hire me? Or why you work for yourself

Well it is July and the first Monday of the month so here I am back to write for you. We had a wonderful time in Hawaii and if you go and can only visit one island,  I recommend Kauai

And one of the best ways to get you there is to work for yourself. Because like my title ask who’s gonna hire me? Even with the new job report out and President Obama is touting it as a win, and their numbers are the lowest they have been in years for unemployment claims we all know that just because the filing numbers drop down does not mean that employment is rising.

As people get discouraged and or take lesser part time positions that do not reflect a true recovery or the true unemployment numbers. Also when the most new jobs are made up of involuntary part time workers, or you are not seeing rises in the construction plumbing or fields that indicate building and growth then we are still not in a true recovery employment wise. Because when we began to come out of a recession or employment dip we start to build and grow. So to get a true sense of the real labor force you need to look at what it is made up of and part timer and temporary positions will not indicate a strong recovery.

But if you do not want to chase down statistics, track trends or try and sort the facts from fiction as to how likely are you to land that plum position with the corner office that is gonna be the road to that perfect life and financial independence, you yearn for. Which we all know that scenario is just the plot from old movies as you can’t guarantee anything anymore not loyalty not security if it is a company you hitch your wagon to instead of your own dreams. But if you were not aware of that, you can just look around and you will find I speak the truth.

So it is a perfect time as well as a smart choice to get your future into hands that really do care about what happens to you and those hands belong to you.

So if you have not already, then this is a great time to build your own security.

So what do you do?

Well I started this blog to help people in Network Marketing as I believed that with that model it was a no brainier to success. What I failed to take into account is most people cannot take advantage of the model since they fail to do it. Some will pay and pay to stay involved in a MLM but, never actually work to build their business. So while I also have always talked about various home businesses and building your own company as well I had to broaden this blog and let go that my main goal was to teach Network Marketing as no teacher no matter how great or successful can teach an unwilling student.

So even though for many being self-employed having your own business is always the number one choice in this time in America it is also really the best way to protect your family’s future and secure the dreams and goals that will land you on the sands of Waikiki

or any destination quicker and on your own time line.

But what do you do and how do you do it?

Finding the industry or business you wish to get involved with comes down to knowing what you are good at, filling a need and or what is it that you want enough to be happy building it as a business.

So sit down and write a list.

Once you have jotted down ideas and things you like and why list pros and cons as to the feasibility of making that into a business that you will put your heart and soul into to give your family and yourself a better life and more stable revenue source.

Then decide how you are going to get stated.

Do you have the funds? Do you know enough about the business or products? Who will your customers be and how do you get them into your business or to purchase your products?

These are questions you are going to need answered.

You need to utilize your computer and other research tools available to learn all you can about the business you want to get involved with.

You may need to take classes or even attend a school that is specific to your business.

If you need to get a business loan you need to find out the different requirements the banks you will be talking to about financing need to grant your loan.

You will also need to make a business plan so you can show them your ideas and how you plan to achieve them. You can make your own or have one created for you by a business consultant.

Also be sure to write out a detailed plan for how much you need and comfortable payback of the loan before you ever walk into a bank. This allows you to have clear cut goals, and not get trapped into paying out more than you can afford, so borrow wisely.

A good idea if you are employed is to start cutting back on unnecessary expenditures and saving as much as you can before you even start your own business; and do not quit until you can afford to make the loan payments and cover expenses of the new business.

Too many people quit their job at the first sign that their business is bringing in a profit when you should make sure that you can do without the paycheck before you rely solely on your own business profits. Because even a profitable business can have a hard time in the beginning making all of the bills and paying household expenses that before were being covered by your regular paycheck.

But just because it will take research, preparation, investment and time, is no reason to give up on the dream.

However to make it a reality you need to decide then do- Do not be like a Network Marketer who joins but never does. No matter if it is an online business or a brick and mortar that you devote every spare moment to making it a success. You have to decided then get started because your future and your family’s security is in your hands and is best handled by you not some company that only has their bottom-line in their sights.

So who’s gonna hire me you ask? Well it just might be you, if you decide to do what so many are doing now and be an entrepreneur and take the reins to control where you go.

Then you just might get to the black beaches of Hawaii

quicker or not at all, but it will be your decision what you do with your time and in building the nest egg that allows you to do what you want with it.

I have faith in you; you can do anything you put your mind to, just like we have.

See you in August
