This little known idea, is actually old school it goes back to before there were computers, what is it? Well it is the old fashioned resume.
People who are looking to stop the pain of not enough money or not making any money at all- just asking for help. They may believe it was another job they wanted an back to the daily grind of trying to take care of their family while all the while making someone else rich as they just get older hoping that this time there will not be any downsizing or the paycheck will last through the next payday.
But in Reality what they are looking for is some help in stopping the bleeding and they may not even know you just could be the one that comes and helps them bandage up those wounds and heal into an entire new way to meet all their goals with the added bonus of their success is in their own hands now. No more boss, no more layoff fears no more trying to do, instead they will, be doing for their family.
I was introduced to a concept that is so simple- Resume Searches. And I have tested out a couple companies, in order to bring this to you today (more on my findings later.) but, it works like this. Remember….. IT’S FREE TO DO THIS!!!!!
1. It’s so Duplicatable!!! Just type “resume search” into Google with quotations.
I brought up millions of sites. This huge result ensures you and your associates/team members do not run out of people to invite to see your business. Also did I say It is soooo…. Duplicatable? You never run out of people to contact.

It’s Easy!!!
Once you have chosen a resume company you wish to look at click on the page and
do a key word search.
Different sites have different search criteria some very detailed, that you can put in keywords, industry, interest, area etc.
3. You have your pick of your perfect matches.
Once you decide to contact an applicant, some sites require you sign up to email thorough them, some do not. You then choose who and how to make contact.
4. Site email.
If you email through the resume site make sure you read the rules, some do not allow bizz opps, but many resumes have their contact info and you can email, call/text them outside the site.
5. Copy and Paste.
If you create a template you can then copy and paste into the site email box/or your own email program. You can then tweak to fit the person you are writing to make the email more personal and tailored.
I checked out two sites indeed.com that requires you have an account and does not allow bizz opps but there was plenty of personal emails, facebook/LinkedIn pages and phone numbers in which to contact should you see a match to their needs and yours, upon review of the resume. Remember to READ the resumes or you cannot address their personal needs.
I then checked out resumebucket.com I liked this site because no account required. Emailing is easy and quick no restrictions on contact. The search criteria is not as advanced as indeed but, they are also loaded with contact info and people telling you what they like what their hobbies are and how bad they need help in taking care of their family.
And those are just two resume sites out of millions.
So it’s a WIN-WIN for everybody!!!!!
And picking your keywords well is the secret. By just doing a search on say recent college grads, you are into a Target Market That is in need of some help.
Did you know the statics are over 50% of recent college grads are unemployed or under employed. And numbers as high as 85% are moving back home following getting their degree that someone paid all that money for, because they can’t afford to live on their own. Now that is a Motivated Market!
Another productive search is Baby Boomers those of us born between 1946 and 1964. And they are starting to hit retirement age. Since 2011 a Bommer has turned 65 every seven seconds- so a big Market.
Did you know Boomers control 80% of the wealth and purchase 80% of the goods. But according to the AARP. 60% of Boomers have lost their investments and 401K’s due to the downturn of the economy and Market conditions.
So many, that 42% of the Boomers are delaying retirement and some say they will not be able to afford to retire at all EVER! So sadly some 25% claim they will have to work the rest of their life, with statistics being quoted as high as 40% in reality will need to work until they die.
54% of Boomers never really saved for retirement. Add ill health and living with threats of losing insurance and Medicare- this is a BIG and Motivated Market!
It’s easy to train others to do Resume Searches. And you will never lack for contacts again as long as you stay within the resume site guidelines but, there are so many if you do not like how one works check another.
No more chasing anyone or trying to guess or draw out what people want or need they will tell you in their own words- Then you can offer them a solution that will help them never have to rely on a paycheck again.
