Is to teach your team is Taking Away the Cookie strategy. It is very powerful. I learned two core principles in Marketing class about human behavior one: We feel special to get what is not easily obtained and, or two: We are appreciative when we are chosen for what is not offered to everyone.
When I was a girl the grocer would only stack a half dozen apples then when those sold he stacked more. I asked him once why, and he told me that he could sell more apples by making people think that was all the there was- so they had to ACT now or miss out.
And if they did, they would be one of the few who got to get the apples. FEEL SPECIAL- Got what others can’t
Human nature at work.
So by not pitching prospects instead laying out value and then the MAYBE should there be a fit I will extend an offer to join our team, not a please join our team- sets up the taking the cookie away and will make the prospect if they really are interested ACT as well as feel privileged to be a part of such a successful team that could turn away people. That you are not just looking for the sign up bonus- the people you select mean more to you, you are more committed than that.
This is a business not an attrition mill. True 97% of the people fail but that is because most Network Marketers are so happy to drag a living breathing person to the meeting party whatever is your opportunity’s format, that YES they want ANYONE to sign up as one check beats no check.
But you are different you are not part of a pyramid scheme, a fly by night here today gone tomorrow scam. You are a successful business and you operate like brick and mortars do when they hire new personnel. You screen, you interview, you see a fit you see value and you see an investment of time that you are willing to undertake because this person will be an asset and you convey that to your prospect and because of your standard and ethics your team will grow
