Ya Gotta Have Heart! The importance of listening in Network Marketing
I was thinking the other day after reading something a fellow Marketing coach Chris Ferrell wrote about giving which struck a cord with me as it is something I have been doing all my life going against the grain- told by top Breeders in the show world as I was building my kennel I could not do this or that I was too open with the pet public, or I was doing it wrong there were things we should hold back on or I should not give away. But I kept rising I kept giving my time my
knowledge my talent, out of the love of my breed and my pet people who followed me. And NOT to advance myself personally, or make money; but to educate and breed a better Labrador- as well as be a better breeder myself.
And as I stated before by using Attraction Marketing which I deemed Target Marketing back then if I even really used a name, but I did say I target marketed. I knew my big Market- I narrowed to my Niche then to my small niche. A certain type of puppy parent in how they approached having a Lab, their lifestyle mindset etc. And I made wonderful matches- with NEVER a returned puppy for other than health, or family reasons on the puppy parent’s part. I was, and am proud of that record. Because I take time to bring anyone in the French-Vanila family- which grew the demand in the breed world for a French-Vanila dog allowing me to make a contribution and influence the Labrador as a breed.
Another of our ventures is ViSalus, we were looking to give back again last year and their match of meals to children in this country was very inviting we also wanted to lose a little weight and the shakes are more than you have read about, if you have never tried them- I love mine with banana frozen berries a little oj/water and yogurt- Ymmmmmmm! I have lost 17 pounds and Jack 20 on our first 90 day challenge and if anyone would like to join us in a challenge feel free to ask. But we love the comradely of this company as well- I think that is one of the things that is great about ViSuals is they give. I truly believe no matter the business if you have a heart if you think of what you can do not what you can make FIRST- just like Chris Ferrell laid out so well in a blog post- that is the correct way of thinking to see long time success and is great Karma!
And you will build life long relationships that will come to you as the expert and once you establish trust will follow your recommendations on purchases and wish to jump on board when invited to join you.
The importance of listening in Network Marketing
Because like when you meet someone and they do all the talking- they tell you their life story their dreams their goals everything that they consider important and you LISTEN. Have someone ask that person after you have left what, they thought of you and they will say great conservationist. I really like them EVEN if they know nothing about you because you made them feel special and we all love to feel special. So Ya Gotta Have Heart!
Let you in on a little secret- we all ARE special but to have that reinforced by another makes us like that person even if we do not know that person- that is the secret to being successful LISTEN, and in life as well as business give your time, your knowledge your heart and if you are also like me genuinely care about people and watch how you can change the world one day, one customer, one person at a time.
