Ok’ guys back to work. I say that because I keep hearing that we are not supposed to be working in this industry.
That this is a push a button, a send an email, a join a program or get a new shinny place Dreamers come to dream while they count the endless dollars they make on some far off beach or sleeping until noon because it is easy is why we do this, right? Wrong!
If it were so easy this is the ONLY things most people would do.
I have often wondered why my spam mail is filled with people who have found all the answers to making 10,000 a week in Network Marketing, yet they will sell it to me for 19.99 instead of use it to stop selling anything to anyone.
Or why someone who has discovered the magic of mass marketing with Craigs list finds a post I put up and is trying to sell me software that is supposed to make him having to manually look through the ads there for prospects, unneeded. I mean if it works why would he be emailing me or you? Shouldn’t he building this OWN list with this wonderful software?
If you are rich, if you are rolling in dough from your business you are also not chasing those who are still working on their own businesses.
If you are financially stable you do not hear about those people as people who have the life, live it! They do not use it as a carrot to get you to join them. And they do not tell you their net worth or use what they have attained to sucker you in. As we all know each of our successes is built on what we put into it not by what our peers, our up line or mentors have done.
There are just a few exceptions, if we have followers or we have newsletters, our own blogs – we share things that are working for us or made us money that may help further the people who look to us for guidance businesses or add to their advertising budget and bring them a little extra revenue stream.
Or if someone ask what ya doing? We
tell them ![]()
What you didn’t want to hear but… What we do DOES take WORK!

Yes Work. I did not let the secret out of the bag or break a Marketers code, by saying that above a whisper. Everything worth having takes work.
So that brings me back to what I started this post with. Our industry, ANY industry takes work. But you can work smart not hard here and choose when you will put more into your business and when you put less. But to end up being the guy on the beach with a laptop you have to put in the effort if you want to be the person on the beach that is NOT doing anything but soaking up the view, you need to also have a road map to success.
That is why I put up this blog to dispel myths, to teach you how to build a foundation and grow your primary business offer you advice and recommendations on ways to bring in additional revenue, and show you the importance of making goals. Now the hard part Yep I will say it again YOU have to do the work.
You need to learn how and where to post Solo ads, join Traffic Exchanges and Safelists . You need to follow the training courses I suggest you take and programs I test drive and find value in if you want to build not only your own brand and get your primary out there getting more eexposure while also building a network, your list and learn the powers of back linking that will add to your sites being seen and help you develop your own following. As people join you in your secondary programs you are building to create a better vehicle for your main business as well as enables you to help others make a little money which will instill in them a trust in you that they will follow your recommendations in the future and be very likely to join your primary business. A win-win, for everyone who you come in contact with, as well as you. It sets your brand apart when you gain this loyalty.
But you need to do more than join, you need to find the right programs and then you need to see each program through, not half way do one start another- and do not opportunity jump or give half measure.
And beware you need to not only work and work smart but you also need to understand there are no free lunches. If you want the best tools to help you succeed, you need to be willing to loosen up those purse strings a bit. I recommend you start slow in the free to few dollars range and revaluate expenses each month. For a slow steady growth. If you loosen the purse strings even further and have the means a few hundred each month into your company can speed up the process.
But one of your goals should be setting aside a business budget to help fuel your dreams of financial independence.
You cannot make a huge success in Network Marketing without spending money like any business. If you think you can you are in the wrong business, you can start slow but if you want to really succeed you have to set aside, both time and dollars to make that happen. The beauty of this business is YOU get to decide when and how much.
Then you need to spend the time creating this marketing machine that will surround you in order for you make the best use of it. It will be part of your advertising budget as well as your work schedule that needs to be included in your normal work routine.
And the great thing about the training courses I will recommend is they will always be a step by step process starting with introductory courses and growing in expertise as you are ready. That you just follow by the paint by numbers approach,
And Safelists, Traffic Exchanges, and Solo Ads they pretty much lay out how to setup your account and use the services after you join as well.
You will be surprised at how fast this will fall into place if you get out there and build your network.
