Romney’s or Obama’s America which is best for Business?
I watched President Obama speak Thursday night and I watched Governor Romney speak last week.
Both men laid out a basic plan for where they see America and what they want for this country.
Do we want a world government that is responsible to the entire country and has an obligation to see each other succeed, with the Government there to help you as well?
Or do we want to live in a country where we are the brightest and best like Reagan’s shining city on the hill? One where we each are responsible for our own destiny?
Do we want to see less freedom and less personal choices or more freedom and more individualism where we are only guaranteed the right to pursue our dreams not the dreams themselves, nor do we insist others without them making the free choice to get involved, to be forced to play a part in helping us make those dreams happen?
Do we want to live in country where we are guaranteed everything, but freedom, or a country that is all you are guaranteed?
We Americans will make that decision in just a couple of months. It will be a monumental decision this election, as the two men running are vastly different in the America they envision.
And while I myself yearn for the Reagan of my youth in the way we unashamedly proclaimed we are America and we are the greatest country there is, not because it was a sound bite but, because he believed it! As every country, should feel that way about their selves.
Or I also long for the days of Clinton and his easy going, but clear headed way he brought us to a place I had never seen then or now. Our bills paid with a surplus and we stood tall to the world as strong and self reliant.
I know the country I want to live in, the America I will vote for, and I am sure you do as well. This blog post is not about politics but, is a question: Which America would be better for business and entrepreneurs?
Soooo Romney’s or Obama’s America which is best for Business?
The truth is once the chatter dies down the delegates go home, the vote is in and we start to live our daily lives again- is EITHER Americas will be. HOW? You may ask.
That is so easy to answer, because we are AMERICANS. We are like small children and animals we do, because we do not believe we can’t. We may have an easier time in one America over another depending on what you are doing and why, but since when did hurdles stop us? We know that when you come up against a roadblock we find a way to go around it over it under it or though it! We will still see the beautiful blue skies and the hope in each sunrise. We will still work too many hours and you will still dream those dreams and find ways to build as Yes’ WE build those dreams. So YOU will not stop no matter which man we pick.
I have heard a lot of concern about the uncertainty of a second term to a President with so many unfulfilled promises or the unknown of a Business man with no more experience in running a Government than the state of Massachusetts, but no foreign policy at all. And after all his was the universal health care plan Obama loosely based his own plan on.
What can we expect from a President that tells Russia on a open mic to wait until he is reelected he will have more flexibility then, on dealing with that country.
Or can a monumentally successful business man who was part of the corporate world, with his own struggling days so far in the past really understand what the every day person goes though now?
But all that will die down and we will do as we always do come together after the votes are counted and go back to the business of daily living and growing our companies, building our businesses.
That spirit that burns in each of you that has your own business no one can reign in. We will in spite of those that lead us continue to grow this country in the way that the majority of its citizens want and we as businesses will continue to service those people.
And in Network Marketing as I have shared throughout this blog over the past few months things are going to be moving into new ways and revolutionary opportunities for all of us and those that want to be at the forefront are signing on, others will follow it is just a mater of time as dreamers we must dream and as entrepreneurs we must DO! With that in mind I see an America full of Action! As we will be the solid foundation that will cement our values and future- WE are America!!!!!
We are gonna rock in 2013! And the world is a better place for that fact.
