OK I built it how do I train it? Team Training

You should be having have a weekly meeting to brainstorm and pass out both praise and ideas with those you sponsor. Keep the team centered as a team, do not alienate anyone. My team has fun contest  and feel good team motivators to inspire all of us.

Keep meetings productive, but also light and enjoyable. We want everyone to love what we do not dread it. If we wanted to dread what we do, we would still be in the daily grind of someone else holding both our future and time hostage to what they wanted. We don’t!! We wanted freedom and we also want to have a blast getting there! So make meetings fun! SHAKE EM’ UP to FIRE THEM UP!

You might role play with your team, make use of laughter, but teach them to…

  • ASK questions of the prospects as the person asking is in control, and in a position of authority. And is such an IMPORTANT tool to learn.

So why do you want to join my team?

  • Then LISTEN listening skills are paramount to success and in also being able to gauge a prospects worth to the team.

Teach your team to deflect jump in questions like what are you, making? Say hey “fill in the name” it is not about what I make, it’s what you can make then immediately go back to asking questions and redirect the conversation to put you back in control.

You do not dodge your Prospect’ questions and concerns, you are factual and up front, but stay on task which is to get across to them that where you or others are at in your organization is not relevant to their success. What they can make and where they can go is only limited to their goals and how much they want it not anyone else’s.

Let your team know that they can be themselves laid back more direct whatever is their comfort zone when interviewing prospects- makes no difference in the goal which is to get the prospect to relate to you see value, and want to join should you or your team wish to extend an offer.

Teach confidence as from day one they are the expert over the prospects as your team even the new reps know more than any lead. So instill in your team the stand tall posture of a professional who knows what he is taking about.

Teach keeping on tack, if you prospect ask for more info like comp plans, products details etc, say we will get to that later on, as right now I am still wanting to learn more about you.

Do not be calling up lines or grabbing laptops to answer all their thrown out of the air questions- stay in the command seat. The prospect should have done their research, if it were me I would not want them on my team if they had not, but you decide for your team. And the prospect can always do their research after your talk, but do not teach your team to be the prospect’s errand boy. Your team is there to qualify the prospect not pacify them. If you lose a prospect because you instruct your team NOT to do the prospect’s homework for them, they probably were not a good fit anyway

It is not about quaintly but the quality and productively of your team, for that we need a match in team mindset work ethic and commitment. My goal is to cut down on people who opt in as dead weight, and look for those rising stars that like myself want to both improve lives and change the world of Network Marketing for the better. Dispel the old myths and show ourselves as the Professionals and legitimate business owners we are.
