The great Network Marketing hoax!!!!
Well it is that we do not have to do any work, with no effort we make money in our sleep, and you can get rich overnight. That this type of business is NOT a real business, or do we have to treat it like it is. WRONG!
No one gets something, no matter what that something is, for nothing! Network Marketing DOES take work, DOES take time- there are no free lunches.
But what is not a hoax, is the life we live.
The perks from having your own business and putting in that time to learn your company know your profession and claim you piece of the Network Marketing pie IS You have the freedom to enjoy your life in a way that a normal 9-5 work for someone else schedule does not afford. You are free to take it easy take time off, travel and have the means to do so. You have tremendous tax advantages and a flexible routine. You can more than watch your kids grow up. You get to be a part of it. You do not miss school plays or baseball games. You can be at every dance recital or be the Scout Leader if you so desire.
You can walk across the room to your desk or into a private home office and you are at work. You can conduct business by laptop, Ipad, cell. Or face to face at poolside and barbeque at the same time.
One of the tax advantages I love is if you do a little business while on vacation you are able to deduct the trip. You can combine dinners out with business building and the tab is on Uncles Sam. But you do need to be on the up and up and keep detailed records. However that is a small little detail to the advantages of your own business
My dad owned a contraction company and he used to say he had the best boss in the world and he had the worst boss in the world. The best boss because he would let him slack off and take it easy, set his own hours and choose how hard he worked.
He had the worst boss because he worked him to the bone, never gave him a break and sometimes it seemed like he worked him 24/7.
I always loved that analogy. And my dad instilled in me a great respect for that kind of boss; especially when my dad said to me “but you know the best thing about my boss is, he has a knack for knowing who I need to see when I go onto the office that day”.
So yes sometimes it takes A LOT of work to build and maintain your Network Marketing business. But no where else can you choose when and how much, work that is. And then set aside or spontaneously take a week or two or more off. Stay at home and do NOTHING, or book a flight to wherever, jump in the car and dive 2000 miles to surprise family. You have that freedom. With this type of business you have one of the most beautiful gifts God grants us and that is TIME. And Network Marketing gives you your time to use as you want- work as hard as you need to and also just slack off and play!
That is what this lifestyle offers you cannot only afford to go to Hawaii when you want, you have the time to. You are able to block off time that you really push to grow and knuckle down to expand your reach and increase your business presence here. But you also have the option of walking away when you need to or want to. And it is you who makes those decisions.
Network Marketing enables you to build dreams, while living them.
