While most websites have updates and new content added periodically a blog needs fresh content regularly. That is the really big difference between the maintaining the two, other than the original setup which for a website is usually more detailed.
Think of your blog is like a daily, weekly, or monthly informational source about your business and what you want your readers to know on an ongoing basis. A website is more about what you want a reader to take away that are your core values, business practices and what your mission statement is. A website will

- Market your products and opportunity
- Is a great way to educate and share ideas
